Circumcision procedures are available for infants, children and adult men following a medical consultation.

Procedure Time

Appointments begin with a short consultation followed by the application of a numbing cream to ensure patient comfort. After allowing time for the anaesthetic to take effect, the circumcision procedure typically takes around 10 to 25 minutes, followed by a brief observation period before the patient is safely discharged.

Circumcision Methods

Several circumcision techniques may be used depending on age and anatomy, including Plastic Ring, ShangRing and traditional surgical methods.

Saturday Infant Clinic

We offer dedicated Saturday infant circumcision appointments for babies up to four months old, helping families who cannot attend during the week.

Travelling Patients

Victoria Circumcision Clinic provides professional circumcision services through our clinics in Melbourne, Victoria and Tasmania. Patients can attend consultations, procedures, and follow-up appointments at the clinic location most convenient for them.

Appointments typically include an initial consultation followed by the circumcision procedure and a short observation period before the patient returns home. In some cases, a follow-up review may be recommended to ensure proper healing.

Occasionally, our medical team may request photos of the healing circumcision to monitor recovery and confirm that healing is progressing normally.
